Diploma in Agriculture: Minimum of Pass

ADMISSION DETAILS

Strength    - B.Sc. (Agriculture)        - 120 students 

                  - B.Sc. (Horticulture)        - 40 students
                  - Diploma in Agriculture  - 50 students

                  - Diploma in Horticulture - 50 Students

Procedure

For both the courses 50% strength will be admitted through TNAU Single Window System and remaining 50% by the management adopting the eligible requirements.

Eligibility for Masters programe

1. Graduates who have completed four years degree program in any one of the State Agricultural Universities / Colleges affiliated to state Agricultural Universities alone are eligible to apply for masters.

2. A candidate who has undergone course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.0 or 70% aggregate alone is eligible to apply for various Masters programs. However, for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying degree is sufficient foe all the programs.

Method of Selection(PG)

1. Candidates shall be required to be present on the specified date for a written test to be conducted at TNAU, Coimbatore.

2. The students are ranked based on the total marks obtained by them. The distribution of marks is furnished below.

OGPA  - 60

Written test - 30

Medals / Awards  - 3

Medals/Prizes in extra curricular/sports events - 5

Service - 2

 Strength    - M.Sc (Ag) Agronomy           - 6 students 

                   - M.Sc (Ag) Entomology        - 6 students
