Tamil Nadu Government’s First Generation Graduate Scholarship
The state government will bear the entire tuition fee of such students who secure admission to professional courses under the single window system. Students studying in government and private engineering, medical, dental, agricultural, veterinary, and law colleges, irrespective of their caste or income will benefit from the scheme.
Free education scheme is applicable to SC/ST,BC, MBC & DNC students studying in 3 year arts/science degree courses (B.A., B.SC., B.COM, etc.,) 3 year polytechnic diploma courses, professional degree courses (Medical, Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary, Law, Indian medicine etc., – for under graduate only
For SC/ST, BCS / MBCS/DNCS: students should be first graduate in the family.
No conditions in so far as the 3 year degree courses only (viz BA, B.SC., B.Com etc),3 year polytechnic diploma course and professional degree courses like Medical, Agricultural, Veterinary, Law, Indian Medicine etc.,

Tami Nadu Government's Adidravidar & Tribal Welfare Scholarship
The benefit of schemes implemented for the welfare of SCs &STs in Tamil Nadu are available only to those who are natives of Tamil Nadu and who belong to the castes included in the list of SCs &STs. Anyone who is not a native of Tamil Nadu is not entitled to any benefit from any scheme even if he belongs to a caste included in the list of SCs &STs of Tamil Nadu.
SCs &STs Welfare schemes are being implemented by district Collectors in the districts. He is assisted by District Adidravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer -Cum- Regional Manager Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Economic Development Corporation in the implementation of the schemes at the district level.

Anyone who is not a native of Tamil Nadu is not entitled to any benefit from any scheme even if he belongs to a caste included in the list of BCs,MBCs & DNCs of Tamil Nadu.

Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme
The Government of TamilNadu has launched Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme to enhance the enrolment ratio of girls from Government schools to Higher Education Institutions.
Through this scheme, the financial assistance of Rs. 1000/month will be provided to the girls till their completion of UG degree/Diploma/ITI/any other recognized course. The incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the student’s Bank Account.

NIA – Campus Day
To impart technical education to the rural students in Pollachi was the passionate dream of our founder Shri. P. Nachimuthu Gounder, Arutchelvar Bathmabushan Dr.N.Mahalingame stablished Nachimuthu Polytechnic College in 1957 to fulfill his father’s dream.
The day on which the campus was dedicated for imparting quality education to students, is celebrated as campus day every year, on the 5th of September. Since the golden jubilee year 2007-2008, on campus day, about 250 meritorious students of NIA Educational Institution are recognized with several scholarships and awards.

YUVASAKTHI AWARD
